Meet Lou Ann Smith
My Story
I majored in Art Studio at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and graduated in 1993. I have experimented with all kinds of creating since then. In the last several years, ceramics and quilting have been my main creative outlets.
I still live near Santa Barbara and enjoy getting to the beach and enjoying local parks and outdoor spaces.
My art is inspired by many things, including my garden and the animals that visit, as well as texture and the rich history that can be found in handmade objects.
I enjoy using handmade items, and hope you do as well.
